Is this an area of growth which should be nurtured?

PC Vs TV

Until now, and even at this point, the vast majority of people use their computers, and only their computers, to access the Internet. It just makes sense, with a PC or laptop made for the job with its crisp monitor and mouse and keyboard combination.
But things are slowly changing. Mobile Internet is becoming big business, rapidly growing all over the world but especially in Asia. And the number of living room devices that can be hooked up to the Web is also growing at a seemingly exponential rate.

A Range Of Options

There are the televisions themselves, with a new range of Internet-enabled TVs announced at the recent CES in Las Vegas. And then there are the set-top boxes such as Roku and Apple TV, as well as hybrid Blu-ray/Web TV players.

But while these are all great, they’re unlikely to sell in any great numbers at the moment, with the mainstream not yet feeling the need to have everything hooked up to the Internet. It will change, but until digital downloads and streaming video become the norm rather than the niche, it won’t happen.

Video Game Consoles

Which is where games consoles come in. All the current-gen consoles, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii, can be hooked up to the Internet. This is currently mainly used for online gaming, but there are seemingly endless possibilities for the consoles to be used to deliver online video to people’s front rooms.

The PS3 and Wii have their own browsers, meaning any owner of one of these console can potentially use them to visit video Web sites and watch videos on their big, widescreen, (probably) HD televisions. The Xbox doesn’t currently have a browser but does have dedicated video services, the latest of which is Netflix.

YouTube TV Web Site
YouTube has recently announced the launch of a ‘TV Web site’ (located at youtube.com/tv) which is being initially targeted at PS3 and Wii owners. The need for a version of the site specifically designed for use on consoles is the lack, generally, of a keyboard and mouse. PS3 owners are stuck with a traditional controller while the Wii Remote offers a point and click variation on the mouse.

The new TV-optimized version of YouTube is stripped down, and offers the bare essentials. You can still log into your account or search for videos and channels but the layout has been altered to cater for console owners.

Conclusions
This is a good move when you consider that there are 40 million Wiis. 30 million Xboxes, and 20 million Playstation 3s in the world right now. And that figure is only going to climb over the next few years.

It could be that games consoles provide the perfect opportunity for video sites to start integrating more into the living room. And YouTube has seen the potential first, discounting the BBC iPlayer. Let’s just hope Hulu and the like now follow suit.

High Definition Sports Programming

Chances are you are one of the many Americans who own one of the latest in high definition TV's. These slick televisions, with their large size, flat screens, sharp pictures and quality sound have changed the way many Americans used to watch their television programming. Americans who learn about the quality of HDTV are leaving their old TV's behind.

One of the services that many Americans choose when they enjoy high definition television is a programming source. Americans who belong to a programming source have many benefits over those who do not. The major benefit is that they have access to hundreds of television shows that are not offered through standard television viewing. This is especially attractive to those who have a particular affinity to certain types of programs.

One big example is high definition sports programming. Across the country, fans of sports are being treated to the sharpest sports viewing they have ever seen. So clear is the viewing that you receive in high definition that you can practically see every blade of grass on a football field, for example.

Another attractive feature of high definition sports programming, in many cases, are the lack of commercials that dominate regular programming. Standard television is known for its frequent commercial breaks. However, many sports fans would prefer a new style. Now sports fans can watch their favorite sports program with as few interruptions as possible in many of the sports programming options.

What kind of programming can sports fans receive with high definition sports programming? Well, you name it and it's available.

American football is one of the most popular of American sports. Are you a fan of American football? Now you can have access to all the NFL games for the season.

Is car racing your love? Not only can you watch car racing like you've never seen it before, but all high definition sports programming give you the special features that standard programming does not. For example, the chances of you watching an exclusive high definition sports program interview with someone like Danica Patrick, who is an American Indy auto racer, is highly possible in high definition sports programming.

How about basketball? Every type of basketball game, including college and professional level, are available at the touch of a remote.

No matter what type of sports fan you are, high definition sports programming allows you to have access to exclusive programming for every sport and sporting event. You need only decide what type of package, or packages you wish to focus on.

Just like the computer has replaced the typewriter, high definition television will continue to be the viewer's choice. Not only are people looking for the sharpest picture, the sound quality is also better than standard televisions. Watching sports programming on HDTV makes you feel like you're right there, in the stands, watching the event.

High definition viewing is not only the favorite for households; businesses are snatching the programming up as well. When people come to a bar for sporting event, for example, they now expect to see high definition sports programming.

With DirecTV sports programming you can get all NFL Sunday games. The NFL Sunday Ticket is only available with DirecTV and is not available on Dish or Cable. Satellite television also provides full access to NASCAR, MLB, NBA and college games.

Computer Viruses - What Are They and What is Their Purpose?

Anyone that has ever owned a computer has either heard about or experienced a computer virus. Livescience.com recently reported that "before the month is even done, April has set a record for virus emails."

Gone are the days when new computer users were told about the rarity of viruses and that there was no need to worry. Countless news reports have since validated the worry over computer viruses, but what exactly is a virus?

Basically a computer virus is a software program designed to destroy or steal data. These viruses are most often sent through email attachments, software downloads, and some types of advanced web scripting. Different viruses cause different types of damage to your computer; Trojan horses destroy data, bombs explode through your system, and worms duplicate themselves, destroying or corrupting data as they go. These viruses can be combined into even more deadly forms but they can usually be identified by their location on your computer.

Boot Sector Virus - Most early forms of virus were boot sector because it required a removable device such as a floppy disk or CD to reach your machine. These viruses activate when you reboot your system and will infect any other floppies inserted afterwards. They have the potential to take up memory or freeze your system.

File Virus - This is a virus that infects other files on your system. Otherwise known as the 'classic' form of virus, it is also the most common and easiest to distribute. Some forms of file virus are able to hide themselves by changing aspects of their code with each infection.

Multipart Virus - This file infects both the boot sector and files. These types of viruses were fairly common when most computers operated on a DOS system but declined when integrated operating systems became the norm.

Who created the first virus and why remains a mystery; however, one virus programmer was willing to explain the motivation behind his destruction. According to this programmer, a popular online service (which will remain unnamed) failed to provide quality protection for children against what he considered to be online smut. To retaliate, he created and distributed a virus to as many file libraries of this service as he could find. His intention: to disable the computers of the people using this service, preventing them from connecting to the internet for days at a time, thus causing the service to lose revenue and customers.

Did it work? Somewhat. A small percentage of users were affected but the company in question is still alive and well, doing business today. Despite the programmers worthy intentions to save children from things best left unseen, his efforts were futile. There are probably many well intentioned motives for creating and distributing a virus, none of which take into account the damage done to an innocent bystander through a virus programmers 'good intentions'.

What can be done if you have a virus? To protect from getting or cleaning out an existing virus, an antivirus utility is needed. There are many of these available today but maybe there is another way. Education and Communication are the key. Perhaps educating the people creating the viruses about the damage done to innocent people and providing a way to communicate their dissatisfaction effectively will reduce the news stories and protect investments.

How Do I Make My Computer Run Faster? - Tips & Tricks

That is the quintessential question of the 21st century, Computers run slow after a while, and that is something you simply cannot avoid. Computers are fast and furious at the point of purchase, but months and months of program installs and exposures to the dangers of the internet will cause those little bytes of the dangerous and the misleading to enter into the cubby holes of your well oiled machine and clog it up. You're not the only one plagued with this problem. Thousands and thousands of computer users have experienced the same frustration with their computers as they either crash, take an eon to load a program, or shows an error message that makes as much sense as a Sanskrit manuscript. If you've ever asked yourself 'how do I make my computer run faster', then look no further, for this article will show you the tips and tricks that you need to do just that.

First of all, it's entirely possible that your computer has enough digital dust bunnies to slow it down worse than a geriatric grandma, so what you need to do is to clean it out. Cluttered software, digital entries that exist in a state of disparity and a hard disk that is fragmented beyond recognition; these are just some of the things that you need to take note of. You need to defragment the space in your working disks and doing that is easy, free and takes only a few hours. The defragment disk utility is in your computer and has the ability to clear out the gutters of your computer so that data will run smoothly through its pipelines. Unfortunately most people do not use this, or even realise that it is there in the first place. Click on it, sit back and wait a few hours and you will see a noticeable difference in the performance of your computer.

One other way of course is to delete and remove programs that you are not using, especially those that Windows tends to load at start up and exist in the program taskbar, eating away at your memory when you don't even need it. Vet through your program list and see what you need and what you don't need; sometimes we forget about past programs that we install, programs which get left behind to our most heinous error. Get rid of them because they are just taking up space in the hard disk.

Getting your computer to run faster can also involve repairing the registry, the one place within the databank labyrinths of your computer that determines how your system runs, how the programs you install execute and the general mechanics of your computer. Most of the problems of a slow PC might actually lie in the registry - we might not know it - but this is a fact of computing life. A good registry cleaner will be just the thing you need to make your computer run faster and better. While I won't get into the exact science that makes your registry tick, you must understand that Windows constantly refers to it as a set of instructions to command the programs in the computer. A good registry cleaner will ensure that all of your system functions run smoothly and properly.

Click Here to speed up your computer for free. Yes ok, I admit it's a pretty bizarre and geeky conversation but it emanated from something that we both dislike and that's censorship. You see Governments around the world are increasingly doing two things about the internet-

Monitoring and insisting our web surfing, emails are logged

Controlling and restricting the parts of the web that we can visit

It's no joke and to someone who gets extremely annoyed when his posts are moderated in a forum you can imagine how worked up I get about this sort of stuff. The discussion about secure offshore web browsing was in particular related to my discovery that if you surfed the internet from Turkey - a liberal secular country that there were actually web sites that you couldn't visit because of religion.

Anyway I probably should explain the technical basics behind these blocks - it's all to do with your IP address. It is pretty much your identity online and can be traced back to your computer via your ISP. In fact your rough location can be deduced automatically from your IP address and it is how a UK citizen would be blocked from using the Pandora Radio web site and how Americans are blocked from using European Online Casinos. Try either and you'll get blocked if you're in the wrong place.

So how can I hide my location

There is a simple way to appear to a web site that you are actually surfing from a different location and that's to use an anonymous proxy server. All this does is funnel your web requests through a different location - you'll appear to the web site to be surfing from the country of the proxy server. Better still your real IP address will not be logged on the web site you visit.

So this is how I can surf securely?

Alas not - proxy servers mask your identity from the web server you visit but everything else is plainly visible, your ISP will log every web page that gets delivered to your computer and all the logs will contain all your history for years.

To surf securely you need to do more - you need a fast, privately owned proxy server that is configured to be totally anonymous, you need the facility to automatically switch to alternate countries proxies when needed and most of all you need your entire web traffic to be encrypted with a military level cipher. This means your connection cannot be traced back from the target web server and all the communication is completely protected from hackers, nosey governments and identity thieves.

It also means that you can surf to the rules and regulations of your selected proxy servers location. If you want to learn the secret to secure offshore web browsing then you need to read my link below.

How to avoid the completely unsecured anonymous proxy servers and really surf securely with your privacy intact - click below.

Anonymous Surfing Proxies

The Simple Steps to Online Hard Drive Backup

Ensuring you have a second copy of all your important files, documents, videos, photos etc. is a must for any computer user. Backups shouldn't just be thought of for businesses, they are just as important to personal computers at home especially if they hold precious family memories in the form of videos and photos that could never be created again if lost.

In this article I want to explain just how easy it is to backup the hard drive in your personal computer online using one of the many online backup services. The whole process shouldn't take any longer then 15 minutes to setup and then it's an automated system from their forward.

So Let's get started.

Step 1

You need to pick a backup service to use. The two popular ones that most people use are either Mozy home backup or Carbonite. Both have similar plans, I've personally used both and like the software that Carbonite uses better the Mozy but it's personal preference.

Visit one of their sites, sign up under their free trial and download the desktop software used to transfer the files from your PC hard drive to their online storage servers.

This is about the longest step in the whole process.

Step 2

Next you need to choose exactly what it is you're going to backup. Most of us backup our entire My Documents folder, but you may have files stored on other areas of your home or office PC you want backed up as well.

After installing the software for the online backup service you've chosen their should be a video or some tutorial to walk you through how to add files and folders to your backup set.

With Carbonite it's as easy as right clicking on a file or folder and selecting "back this up". That file or folder will then be added to your backup set.

The great thing about this entire process is that as you add new files and folders to the directories you're backing up those new items will be added to your backup set online.

Step 3

Time to start loading those files from your local hard drive onto the online backup server. Thankfully now the process is more or less automatic. You don't need to move files one at a time up to the online backup server. The software you downloaded and used in step 2 does all that for you.

The first time you load everything up it might take sometime, but be patient. The big upload only has to happen that first time. Then from there on only files that are changed, or new documents and files are uploaded.

If you're reading this thinking, this sounds like a good idea I should really do this don't procrastinate. It's just when you least expect it that a hard drive failure can occur and you won't have that data any more. So take the few minutes to setup your hard drive backup online now.

Should anything happen you certainly won't be sorry.

Get started right now with backing up your hard drive online. We've reviewed the company I suggested above here in this Carbonite review. Also another alternative to checkout that backs up files and also keeps them synchronized across multiple computers is BeInSync. We've written an unbiased and detailed review of their service as well here in our BeInSync review.

What Are the Different Zune Formats?

The Zune multimedia player supports specific Zune formats. This is to ensure that the best type of player was created to play specific formats exceptionally. This does not really pose a problem for the Zune users because the formats that Microsoft requires are well-known and widely-used file formats.

This article is to guide the new Zune user as to what kind of file formats can be supported by Zune. The goal of the article is to save you time by preventing you from downloading files that cannot be played on your Zune. Zune formats are important in maintaining the quality of performance of your portable media player.

Video

The video formats supported by all Zune players are the following:

- m4v / mpeg - 4 video file
- mp4 / mpeg - 4 video file
- wmv / windows media audio/video file

You can set your Zune software as the default player for the previously mentioned type of files. There are a number of videos in these kinds of file formats. Just sign up with any of the legitimate download centers like izuneaccess.com, unlimitedzunedownloads.com and zunevideopro.com. Watch movies, television shows, sporting events, cartoons and documentaries on your Zune.

Audio

Songs that come in mp3 and wma file formats are supported by Zune players. Almost all songs do come in these formats, so this is not a problem for Zune users. Just download the latest songs from your artist and enjoy it anytime you want to.

Games

Zune games are independently developed by normal people. This makes the games free and abundant since they are not developed and distributed by the Microsoft Company. They run on the XNA platform that was released by Microsoft. It gives ordinary people the chance to create and design their own games. These games are programmed in the C# language.

So these are the Zune formats that a Zune user should be well-acquainted with. And these kinds of files can be found in some websites which offer zune downloads.

Excited to load lots of videos and music to your new Zune? Discover where you can get the top zune downloads. Find unlimited movies and music to download in zune formats now!

The Rise of Digital Entertainment

The trend is obvious - consumers are using their portable devices for digital entertainment. They use portable digital cameras for taking photos and shooting videos. They use portable media players for watching movies, and they wear stylish hands free headsets for listening to digital music.

Most of these gadgets are small and light weight. They are convenient to bring along and provide hours and hours of entertainment. Other devices are not as small. They appear a little bulky, but are more powerful. As such, they can be used to run more resource intensive applications. Such gadgets include the UMPC (ultra mobile PC), the HPDC (hybrid portable dual computer), the netbook, and the laptop.

However, the problem with most of these gadgets is that they are mainly used for consuming content instead of creating content. For content creation, only a HPDC or a laptop can get the job done. The HPDC and laptops both use the Microsoft Windows OS. So it is easy to find compatible applications that run on these systems. For this reason, the laptop is mostly reserved for business use. In addition, most laptops are still not powerful enough to run sophisticated 3D games.

All that is about to change with Alienware gaming notebooks. These notebooks are powered by Intel's first quad core CPU (Core 2 Extreme QX9300). It supports up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and boasts an enhanced sound system. As most 3D gaming applications require strong graphic processing capabilities, traditional laptops haven't been able to rise to the challenge. An Alienware gaming notebook offers support for multi-GPU technology. Multi-GPU means that multiple graphic processors are working at the same time to ensure that the displays run smoothly.

If you are not into gaming, perhaps you wouldn't be too interested in Alienware gaming notebooks. Perhaps you are interested in something else, like digital photography. Then a small but interesting gadget like the Flipbac angled viewfinder may catch your attention.

This is a small little gadget that you can attach to the LCD screen of a digital camera. When not in use, it acts as an LCD screen protector. When you want to take a digital picture, simply flip open the gadget, and it will reflect the display on the LCD screen. This allows the photographer to take interesting digital photos from many different perspectives. The photographer can also take pictures from the ground level (and up) without having to bend down. It is compatible with most point and shoot digital cameras, and will attach to a 3 inch LCD screen.

There are all types of gadgets to enhance the digital lifestyle of even the most hard to please enthusiast. Even a simple gadget like the Flipbac angled viewfinder can provide hours and hours of enjoyment. The best part is, it doesn't have to cost a bomb!

You may be surprised to read this but an Alienware gaming notebook with basic configurations costs less than $1,500! The rise of digital entertainment is surely penetrating deep into everyone's lives.

TechJunki

How Registry Cleaning Fixes a Slow Computer

Face it, your computer is dirty. Its filled with garbage and useless old files that are slowing down your once fine-oiled machine. A good registry cleaning is needed, and a registry cleaner is your new maid.

A registry cleaner will clean up temporary files (both from Windows and from browsers), file fragments, histories, cookies and even your recycle bin. Installation is a breeze and I was up and running a registry scan within ten seconds. Check boxes about for the advanced user/tinkerer are abundant and welcomed, though it is set up by default for the average user to take advantage of it with just a few mouse clicks.

The cleaner section file-tree structure allows for easy management under the "Applications" tab to check or uncheck different apps and browsers as a whole, or you can adjust individual parameters. Say you want to get rid of all your cookies and cache from Firefox and Opera, but you wanted to keep your cache from IE since you last visited a now-defunct site... uncheck the box, hit Analyze, and you're good to go.

Under "Tools" you will find tabs for "Uninstaller" and "Startup." The uninstaller was fast and efficient, while the startup area lets you enable and disable or even delete programs.

Now, you may be saying, well, I think I will just try to do registry cleaning on my own. Big mistake. You could potentially damage your hard drive if you were to delete the wrong file by mistake. Better be safe and leave the registry cleaning to a professional

The best program for registry cleaning is RegFix. In recent times, the technology community has been excited about many new portable devices. They have every reason to be excited, as you shall soon see. These portable gadgets serve many different purposes. They provide entertainment, allow people to connect to the Internet to do work, and may even be used as fancy wall displays.

The Media Port UP300x Multimedia Headset is one such example. This is a standalone headset that allows an individual to enjoy music playback hands free. And when the manufacturers say hands free, they really mean it. You do not even have to touch the headset to perform any operations. There is a built-in motion sensor that will allow you to adjust volume, select files, playback, pause, etc. just by moving your head.

Attached to the headset is a lightweight display device that provides a high quality image. Even those wearing glasses will have no problems operating this device.

The internal memory of the multimedia headset comes in 4GB and 8GB. The amount of memory is enough for an individual to store thousands of songs. All popular playback formats are supported. There is even talk of a content distribution service that will allow the individual to download content directly from the gadget. This gadget looks set to be a winner among music and movie lovers on the go.

Another example of an innovative device is the ASUS Ufoto. Traditionally, graphic display technology has only been used on big scale monitors. However, ASUS has discovered a way to run a tiny LCD monitor via the USB port. Enthusiasts have mentioned that this technology can be used as a photo frame. And ASUS gave the consumers exactly what they wanted.

The ASUS Ufoto's primary objective is to display photos. You can store over 700 photos in its built-in 128MB memory. If that's not enough, you can always attach an external storage device, such as an USB flash drive. The Ufoto gadget will allow you to run slide shows automatically. While the slide show runs, you can even synchronize the show with MP3 music.

The Ufoto digital photo frame can be left standing on a table or hanged on a wall. There is a rechargeable lithium battery that lasts for 6-8 hours, so there is no need to keep it plugged into an AC power source all the time.

And because it is very small and light, it can be brought along so that family and friends can view hundreds of photos all at one time. Imagine having to bring along physical photo albums of over 700 photos while traveling! The weight must be unbearable.

Another function of the ASUS Ufoto is that it can be used as a secondary monitor. The gadget can be plugged into any available USB port, and it can be used to add additional work space for the user.

As you can see, consumers are spoilt for choice when it comes to portable devices. They come in such fanciful designs that it's almost impossible not to give them any attention. Perhaps the best strategy is to stop fighting the temptations and give in to your desires. Your life will never be the same again with these devices.

For more information on the Media Port UP300x and the ASUS UFOTO UF735, please visit the Gadget Advisor blog.

TechJunki

The Next Generation PC Systems

Change is coming soon. Technology has continued to evolve at break neck speed. The speed at which technology evolves is partly driven by increasing demands from the marketplace. Everyone wants more powerful systems that are highly reliable and can run faster. Hardware and software manufacturers are working in tandem to bring the next generation of computer systems to a whole new level.

It all starts from the CPU (Central Processing Unit). The CPU is like the heart of the system. Without a powerful "heart", other components cannot realize their full potential. Intel has recently announced the release of the Core i7 processors. This family of processors is radically different from previous generations. They are all quad core processors, with each core having dual threads. That means the CPU will appear to the operating system as 8 processors. Talk about power!

With more powerful processors, other components of the computer system have more processing power to utilize. An enthusiast will surely ask, "But what about the memory?" The memory of a computer system is another critical component that affects the overall speed of the system. If the memory is not upgraded, there will be a bottle neck, and even the fastest of CPUs will be rendered ineffective.

The Core processors support triple channel DDR3 memory. Memory manufacturers like Gingle have announced releases of triple channel DDR3 memory kits that are fully compatible with Intel's Core i7 processors. Furthermore, for enhanced memory performance, Intel has decided to mount the memory controllers directly onto the processor die. A high speed link is available if another processor wants to access the information on the memory controllers on another core. This means that instead of the processor having to retrieve information from external memory controllers, the processors now have direct access to the instructions. This improves performance dramatically.

Tests ran by reputable technology websites have showed improvements in all areas - graphics processing, CPU processing, and higher reliability when overclocked.

Of course, given the raw power offered by the new Core i7 processors, a better architecture has to be available to allow faster communication between the different components. For this reason, the Core i7 processors can only be used on motherboards with the X58 chipset. In other words, whoever wants to upgrade to the new Core i7 processors will have to give up their old motherboards.

The X58 motherboards support Intel Quickpath Interconnect. This is Intel's way of establishing faster communications between the various components.

The new motherboards also features support for high speed hard drives. Both internal and external disk drives can run up to 3GB/s.

Seagate recently announced the release of the Savvio 15K.2 second generation, 2.53 hard drive. This new generation hard drive can run at 15,000 RPM (twice the speed of traditional hard drives) and can save up to 70% in terms of power consumption. For server farms that use many hard disk drives, the energy savings can amount to something substantial.

Everything appears to be pointed in the right direction - faster systems, higher reliability, and more cost savings. Enthusiasts have a lot to cheer about.

For more information on the Seagate hard drive The result is Amazon Kindle.

We designed Kindle to provide an exceptional reading experience. Thanks to electronic paper, a revolutionary new display technology, reading Kindle’s screen is as sharp and natural as reading ink on paper—and nothing like the strain and glare of a computer screen. Kindle is also easy on the fingertips. It never becomes hot and is designed for ambidextrous use so both "lefties" and "righties" can read comfortably at any angle for long periods of time.

We wanted Kindle to be completely mobile and simple to use for everyone, so we made it wireless. No PC and no syncing needed. Using the same 3G network as advanced cell phones, we deliver your content using our own wireless delivery system, Amazon Whispernet. Unlike WiFi, you’ll never need to locate a hotspot. There are no confusing service plans, yearly contracts, or monthly wireless bills—we take care of the hassles so you can just read.

With Whispernet, you can be anywhere, think of a book, and get it in one minute. Similarly, your content automatically comes to you, wherever you are. Newspaper subscriptions are delivered wirelessly each morning. Most magazines arrive before they hit newsstands. Haven’t read the book for tomorrow night’s book club? Get it in a minute. Finished your book in the airport? Download the sequel while you board the plane. Whether you’re in the mood for something serious or hilarious, lighthearted or studious, Kindle delivers your spontaneous reading choices on demand.

And because we know you can't judge a book by its cover, Kindle lets you download and read the beginning of books for free. This way, you can try it out—if you like it, simply buy and download with 1-Click, right from your Kindle, and continue reading. Want to try a newspaper as well? All newspaper subscriptions start with a risk-free two-week trial.

Kindle’s paperback size and expandable memory let you travel light with your library. With the freedom to download what you want, when you want, we hope you’ll never again find yourself stuck without a great read.

We're very proud to introduce Amazon Kindle and we hope you like it as much as we do.

What are you waiting for....

Techjunki

Spyware Tips Plus New Free Antispyware and Adware Program That Works With Vista!

AntiSpyware 2008 is a cutting-edge anti-spyware solution. By using both you guarantee yourself the maximum amount of security. And, since most anti-Spyware products come with optional Firewall software, they're easy to find together.

Remember Your Updates

The reason anti-Spyware programmers can combat ever-changing and new Spyware threats is because they have comprehensive databases that are constantly being added to. In order for you to take advantage of those additions though, your software must access the database and be updated on a regular basis.

Make sure your anti-Spyware programs have automatic update features. If they don't automatically update, you're likely to forget to do it yourself and this will leave you open to the latest threats.

Stop Focusing On The Small Stuff

It's not uncommon to see someone deleting their cookies each and every day, yet leaving their computer vulnerable and without any real anti-Spyware protection. Unless a cookie is a tracking cookie, it's relatively harmless. Instead, focus on what matters: the actual Spyware programs. Let a comprehensive anti-Spyware program like AntiSpyware 2008 tell you what matters and what you need to get rid of.

AntiSpyware only detects and offers to remove cookies that track a user's Internet activity. Otherwise, it can comprehensively scan for the malicious programs that pose the truest threat.

Forget Free

When it comes to protecting yourself from Spyware and malware threats, it isn't the time to be cheap. Not only are the free anti-Spyware programs on the web ineffective, but they can be downright dangerous. Some of the worst Spyware programs in existence disguise themselves as free anti-Spyware products, exploiting the very users they are supposed to protect.

Engage your Email

Many forms of Spyware have been contracted by opening a bogus email attachment. There have even been some programs that could upload themselves onto victims' computers from the email body itself, meaning that if users so much as looked at the email, they ran the risk of infection. Plenty of people fall victim to bogus attachments, especially if the email looks like it's from a genuine source.

For the most part, casually viewing email is much safer than it used to be, but good rules of caution are still needed. Don't open attachments from people/organizations you do not know and be wary of official looking emails that ask for vital information (such as account numbers or credit card numbers). No reputable organization ever asks for these via email, only on their secure sites. And remember, when in doubt, pick up the phone and ask.

I highly recommend this program its 100% compatible with vista and is the most reliable and powerful program I have ever used for spyware and adware.

Techjunki

Totally Free Proxy With Very Fast Speeds!

Enjoy unrestricted and uncensored browsing with our service. A new google browser whoa! Google is one of the best search engines around not to mention everything else google has so the new browser has to be good right? Well today I will be reviewing the new google web browser, will it be the new firefox or sink like a rock?

So you may be wondering what this new browser is well heres what google says about it... ..

A fresh take on the browser

At Google, we spend much of our time working inside a browser. We search, chat, email and collaborate in a browser. And like all of you, in our spare time, we shop, bank, read news and keep in touch with friends - all using a browser. People are spending an increasing amount of time online, and they're doing things never imagined when the web first appeared about 15 years ago.

Since we spend so much time online, we began seriously thinking about what kind of browser could exist if you started from scratch and built on the best elements out there. We realized that the web had evolved from mainly simple text pages to rich, interactive applications and that we needed to completely rethink the browser. What we really needed was not just a browser, but also a modern platform for web pages and applications, and that's what we set out to build.

So today we're releasing the beta version of a new open source browser: Google Chrome.

On the surface, we designed a browser window that is streamlined and simple. To most people, it isn't the browser that matters. It's only a tool to run the important stuff - the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. It gets out of your way and gets you where you want to go.

Under the hood, we were able to build the foundation of a browser that runs today's complex web applications much better . By keeping each tab in an isolated "sandbox", we were able to prevent one tab from crashing another and provide improved protection from rogue sites. We improved speed and responsiveness across the board. We also built V8, a more powerful JavaScript engine, to power the next generation of web applications that aren't even possible in today's browsers.

This is just the beginning - Google Chrome is far from done. We've released this beta for Windows to start the broader discussion and hear from you as quickly as possible. We're hard at work building versions for Mac and Linux too, and we'll continue to make it even faster and more robust.

We owe a great debt to many open source projects, and we're committed to continuing on their path. We've used components from Apple's WebKit and Mozilla's Firefox, among others - and in that spirit, we are making all of our code open source as well. We hope to collaborate with the entire community to help drive the web forward.

The web gets better with more options and innovation. Google Chrome is another option, and we hope it contributes to making the web even better.

But enough from us. The best test of Google Chrome is to try it yourself.

After reading the above it sounds like they have combined the best of browsers together. After testing out the new Google Chrome web browser the first thing I have to say is I was very suprised with Google Chrom's power, speed, and its friendly interface. This is by far the easiest to use browser I have ever used. Speed wise I find it to be equal to Mozilla FireFox Web Browser. I think in the future and present that this new Google Chrom Web Browser will be one of the best!

So go give it a test drive!

http://www.google.com/chrome

TechJunki

Make money in just 15 minutes! Seriously?

Never has there been a time when someone sits down and
shows you step by step blueprints to make real money
on the internet. Furthermore, no one in the right frame
of mind will show you a way to do it WITHOUT spending a
single penny on advertising.

You see, the Internet is huge and millions come online
to have a crack at it. Majority (99.9%) just don’t have
a clue where to start. They attempt some techniques
exposed by well known internet marketing gurus, but
never really make some serious money.

Well the thing is, the owner of Google Snatch is NOT
a guru. Simple down to earth guy who just knows what to
do to make money online! Best of all are the techniques
he uses to dominate not only a niche market but also
markets that have thousands of competitors owned and
run by large corporations.

He implements his own techniques and actually, in one
word, hammers his competition. No Google Adwords to cheat,
as each click costs an expensive $100. As at the end of
the day, the bigger the market, the bigger the competition,
so more spending power!

Now millions are afraid to compete in big markets because
the people (companies) who have the money CAN demolish
their competitors. But what he tells you is, BIG companies
have more money than sense. There is no need to spend
thousands of dollars to make money online. If you have
the right formula, (The FREE Click Formula) then why waste
money on paid clicks.

The problem with paid advertising, whether its Google,
Yahoo or MSN, you can get high placements almost instantly,
but whose clicking on your ads? I mean whose accumulating
a large bill at the end of the month for you?
Your competitors? Happy clickers? Or actual ‘real’ customers?

The work involved is just as much as setting up a Google
Adwords campaign. Since the Google Slap came to the scene,
it was made clear that for each keyword you bid on it
requires a unique page, as a must, to achieve good popularity
ranking.

So the idea is simple, yet thousands think, actually
MILLIONS think, Adwords is quicker? It takes 15 minutes
for the world to see your listing! But in order to get
to those 15 minutes, it takes the same time to find the
keywords, create the landing page and to get the campaign
on its feet. Overall you could say it takes maybe 60 – 90
minutes, maybe more.

Once this is setup, people will actually start seeing your
ads AFTER 90 minutes as the work needs to be done beforehand.

Now for the alternative, inside Google Snatch! It takes 60
minutes for the world to see your ad, PLUS you don’t pay
a single cent on a click. Yet to that matter never will
you ever again pay for a click once you discovered these
techniques. So this you could say is the REAL get your
Google ads for free!

It was suppose to be priced at $997, but at present it’s
next to NOTHING! So go over to the website now before
your competitors use this method on you.

Never pay for Google ads ever again and let the world
see your site within 60 minutes!

To your success,

TechJunki

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://techjunki.blogspot.com/2008/08/make-money-in-just-15-minutes-seriously.html' title='Make money in just 15 minutes! Its BugMeNot.com and this is what its all about.

BugMeNot.com was created as a mechanism to quickly bypass the login of web sites that require compulsory registration and/or the collection of personal/demographic information (such as the New York Times).

So you maybe wondering why not just register to these sites? Well heres a couple reasons why...

It's a breach of privacy.

Sites don't have a great track record with the whole spam thing.

It's contrary to the fundamental spirit of the net. Just ask Google.

It's pointless due to the significant percentage of users who enter fake demographic details anyway.

It's a waste of time.

It's annoying as hell.

Imagine if every site required registration to access content.

And now your probably wondering how this works well all you do is go to bugmenot.com and enter the website account/password your looking for in the search box and hit search logins and you will see a list of accounts/passwords you searched for simple as that I highly suggest it!

"Insider" Affiliate Strategy Manipulates Google To Generate $109,151 In 30 Days... Lets start from the begging, first ask your self what kind of internet connection you currently have. (ex DSL, Cable , T1) If you have dial up you are going to be waiting for about a year for 1 download to finish so I dont recommened joining the torrent world until you have a cable or higher connection.

Now we need to get or new lightweight Utorrent which is much like bitTorrent but a lighter and more powerful version. This program is what we will be using to download or upload our torrents.
Step1. Download Utorrent Here

Step2. Install Utorrent (If You Need Help Installing Search Google)

Step3. Find a torrent. Today we are going to get our torrent from thepiratebay.org which is a torrent tracker.

The tracker computer does two things. It keeps a record of who has got the full copy of the file you are requesting and who is also requesting that file at the time. The people are referred to as “Seeders”, who have already downloaded 100% of the file and “leechers” who are in the middle of downloading the file. The tracker transfers your computer the information to connect to the seeders and leechers to download the file from them - to your computer. Obviously if there are no Seeders and leechers then you will not get the file. If you see a torrent file you want and there are no seeders, avoid it.

As you can see above this is thepiratebay.org homepage where you search for your torrent. Notic above I have entered in what I was searching for and have checked the right category which in this case is "Audio". Now search by pressing "Pirate Search".

Now you should have something that looks like the below image. As you can see the first thing you want to do after your search has completed in click the "SE" button which is circled in red below. What this will do is sort all the torrents results you got by most seeders. Meaning the highest seeded torrent you will see first. High seeded torrents is faster download speeds so you always want the high seeded torrents.
Now click on the torrent you wish to download ill be downloading the torrent with the red arrow next to it. After you click the torrent it will take you to the page where you download the torrent.
To download the torrent simply click the red circled link below.

Then something that looks like the below image will pop up. Make sure you choose open with uTorrent. Then click OK.

Now it should look something like the below image. "A full investigation is being conducted. Police and the Information Commissioner have been informed."

It added: "The data was held in a secure format on the contractor's site. It was downloaded onto a memory stick for processing purposes, which has since been lost. The transfer of data on this assignment to the external contractor has been suspended."

Following the breach, a member of PA Consulting staff has been suspended, a Home Office representative said.

The company was appointed by the Home Office in June 2007 to provide application support for tracking prolific and priority offenders through the criminal justice system.

Asked whether the Home Office will be terminating PA Consulting's contract in light of the security breach, the representative told Silicon.com, "We are investigating the external contractor's contractual obligations."

The Home Office refused to comment on whether security measures should have been in place to prevent unencrypted data being transferred onto a USB stick. The representative also refused to clarify exactly what security requirements the Home Office has for external contractors who handle sensitive data.

PA Consulting--which was selected in 2004 to also work with the Home Office on the design, feasibility, and business and procurement elements of the government's ID card program--said in a statement, "We are collaborating closely with the Home Office on this matter. We have no further comment to make at this time."

This is not the first time sensitive data held by the government has gone missing.

Just last month, it emerged that the details of 45,000 people, including criminal records and banking and court information, have been lost or compromised in the past year by the Ministry of Justice. And last year, two CDs containing the confidential personal details of 25 million child benefit recipients were lost by HM Revenue & Customs.

"It is deeply worrying that after a number of major data losses and the publication of two government reports on high-profile breaches of the Data Protection Act, more personal information has been reported lost," David Smith, deputy commissioner for U.K. data protection watchdog the Information Commissioner's Office, said in a statement. "The data loss by a Home Office contractor demonstrates that personal information can be a toxic liability, if it is not handled properly and reinforces the need for data protection to be taken seriously at all levels. It is vital that sensitive information such as prisoner records is held securely at all times."

Smith added: "The Home Office has informed us that an internal investigation is being carried out into the data security arrangements between the Home Office and its contractor, PA Consulting. We expect the Home Office to provide us at the Information Commissioner's Office with a copy of the report and its findings. We will then decide what further action may be appropriate. Searching questions must be answered about what safeguards were in place to protect this information."

Natasha Lomas of Silicon.com reported from London.

I thought I would share this with everyone. I was just shocked by the fact that a usb stick with 84,000 prisoner records on it would be lost. Maybe if it was a usb with the upcoming bake sale information on it, but prison records. Losing the times of prisoners release dates! Man how mad would you be if someone lost the time and date of getting released back into the world.

TechJunki

Lets get some comments curious to what every one has to say about this!

The Torrent World - part1

In the torrent world today there are a lot of places to find torrents. But which way is really the way to go when choosing a tracker to upload or download your torrents from?

Today I will review some private and public torrent trackers. So you can find exactly what your looking for in a torrent tracker!

When most people think of private torrent trackers(Ones requiring sign up to use.) the first thing that comes to mind is Demonoid.com. Thats why I will be reviewing Demonoid first.

1. http://www.demonoid.com/

Demonoid.com is known for its large community of sharing and often are where the newest movies, music, etc. are posted first and usually have pretty good speeds and a lot of seeders and less leechers than you would find at a public tracker. Over all Demoniod.com is a great private torrent tracker but sometimes its a bit difficult to navigate thru the torrents. Currently Demoniod.com is only accepting new users by invites from members. But they do open regestrations to public every once in a while so keep checking!

2. http://araditracker.com

Another private torrent tracker AradiTracker which is newer tracker. This is one of my favorite trackers because the speeds, avalibilty, seeders and the quality of the torrents are just awsome! They are pretty strict about ratios there so try to keep yours 1.0 or above. The regestrations are currently open so hurry on over a sign up.

3.http://thepiratebay.org/

Home sweet home The Pirate Bay. This is most popular free torrent tracker and a great one at that. Extremely user friendly, this is the place to go for new users and old alike in the torrent world. At the piratebay there is usually alot of seeders and leechers but it evens out. Download speeds usually arent the best but some time the pretty decent. And remember you dont even have to sign up to use thepiratebay.org!

Check back for part 2
Where I will be reviewing more torrent trackers!

TechJunki

Attention: Explode Your Traffic By Easily Getting Your Links Onto The Most Popular Content Websites In Your Niche!
